Russian President Vladimir Putin paid extraordinary attention to the fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov. Putin continued to monitor the development of Khabib’s father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who is currently still lying weak in the hospital.

As previously reported Abdulmanap was in a coma shortly after being diagnosed with pneumonia. Later it was found out that Abdulamanap was positive for contracting the corona virus.

According to Nurmagomedov’s former manager, Ali Abdelaziz, President Putin personally contacted Khabib Nurmagomedov to offer his assistance and that his father received the best care.

‘The president reached out to him several times,’ Abdelaziz told MMA Fighting, Wednesday (5/20/2020).

‘It makes us a little calm, but everything is in God’s hands. Everything is in God’s hands and we can get all the help we can,’ continued Abdelaziz.

Earlier this week, Khabib Nurmagomedov spoke about his father’s health struggle for the first time in public in a long video posted on his Instagram page.

‘This virus has seriously affected his heart, since he underwent heart surgery a year ago,’ Nurmagomedov said in a statement.

‘Many people I know have died, parents of people close to me. This virus has attacked everyone. This virus does not ask for your family name or your name, this virus does not ask where you work, whether you are rich or Everyone is sick. We can only overcome this together,’ he explained.
