Khabib Nurmagomedov confirms that his father has coronavirus

Lightweight champion UFC, Khabib Nurmagomedov, confirmed that his father, Abdulmanap, was diagnosed with coronavirus.

The information was confirmed by Khabib in a live broadcast on his Instagram account.

“The virus seriously affected his heart, since he had surgery, a year ago,” said the champion.

Realizing the seriousness of his father’s case, Khabib, who has been declaring the importance of taking care of the dangerous virus, spoke again about the dangers of the coronavirus. The disease has already killed millions of lives in the world and is one of the largest health crises in history.

“Many people I know died. Relatives are next. The virus affects everyone. He doesn’t ask for your nickname or name. It does not ask where you work if it is rich or poor. Everyone is affected. We have to fight together to overcome this situation,” said Khabib.

Abdulmanap started feeling bad in April when he was spending a season in Dagestan. The coach ended up admitted to a local hospital with suspected pneumonia, but his condition worsened. Later he was transferred to a Moscow hospital.

RT Sports revealed that the family patriarch was in a coma last week. The rumor that he was diagnosed with coronavirus had not been confirmed by Khabib.
